Swirls of black cherries, vanilla and dark chocolate mark the nose of the current-release 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon. Estate grown in Calistoga and aged in 85% new French oak, it's a rich, full-bodied wine but one that doesn't come across as forcibly extractive or overripe, with easygoing, supple tannins and a long, plush finish. It should drink well for at least a decade, quite possibly longer.
