The medium dark ruby-colored 1994 Pinot Noir Vintage Select offers a muted but pleasant nose of earth and ripe berries. Noticeable oak intrudes on the palate to give the wine a dry, hard personality. There is a pleasant mid-palate, as well as enough concentration to warrant interest.
