The 2019 Pinot Noir Precious Mountain Vineyard is layered and intense, with detailed bitters and herbal tones complementing its pomegranate and blueberry fruit. It continues to gain nuance as it airs in the glass, opening to a perfume of rooibos tea leaves, lavender and graphite. The medium-bodied palate is equally compelling, offering bold fruits supported by grainy tannins and refreshing acidity that calls you back for another sip. Detailed yet powerful, it deserves another 2-3 years in bottle and will be long lived in the cellar.

Pale to medium ruby, the 2018 Pinot Noir Precious Mountain Vineyard slowly opens to gentle scents of dust, tangerine, dried rose petals and saline with a core of perfumed red and black berry fruit. Light to medium-bodied, the palate is silky and lifted with saline-laced fruits, grainy, seamlessly fresh and finishing ethereal. 320 cases were made.

The 2017 Pinot Noir Precious Mountain Vineyard is pale to medium ruby-purple and youthfully shy, very slowly giving up cinnamon stick, warm blackberries, black and red cherries, pipe tobacco, prosciutto, earth and black tea leaves. It's light to medium-bodied and spicy but somewhat shy in the mouth, with a firm frame of chalky tannins and juicy acidity, finishing very long and spicy. This needs more time in bottle! 291 cases were made.

The 2016 Pinot Noir Precious Mountain Vineyard comes from dry-farmed, organic vines, some planted as early as 1971. Pale to medium ruby-purple colored, it opens with blackcurrant and spiced black cherries, dried savory herbs, notes of nutmeg and warm cinnamon stick, perfumed earth and peppery/meaty touches with red berry sparks. The palate is light to medium-bodied and slowly fleshes out in the mouth—this is a more elegant, understated style—with grainy tannins and juicy freshness to lift the long, spicy finish. 318 cases produced.

From one of the famous iconic sites associated with Williams Selyem, juicy black and red currants, cherries, crushed rock and spice jump from the glass of the dark ruby 2013 Pinot Noir Precious Mountain Vineyard. It is medium to full-bodied, still tannic and youthful, and a likely candidate for improvement over the next 5-6 years. Moreover, it should last 15 or more.
