The 2011 Tributo Sauvignon Blanc has a fresh grass clipping and grapefruit scented bouquet that displays good intensity. The palate is bright and citrusy on the entry with fine grapefruit, orange zest and guava notes towards the exuberant finish. Drink now-2014. Caliterra is 1,087 hectare estate of which 250 hectares are dedicated to hillside plantings of vines that are farmed organically. The 2010 Tributo Sauvignon Blanc was sourced from Leyda, a region increasingly recognized for this varietal. It too was fermented and raised in stainless steel.
