Pale gold in color. Slightly sweet and candied aromas prevail: pear drops and white flowers. Similar flavors appear on the fairly light-bodied palate. Villa Wolf, Ernst Loosen’s Pfalz venture, had several hits in 2007, including this medium-bodied, dry Pinot Gris. Orange and tangerine notes marry easily on the palate with stony notes of crushed rock.
