This is the top-end wine from Tenute Soletta. The 2015 Cannonau di Sardegna Riserva Keramos is generous and ripe with lingering tones of dried fruit, prune and some blackberry marmalade as well. What stands out most here is that typical Sardinian signature with bramble, Mediterranean brush and black currant. The wine sees 20 days of skin maceration during and after fermentation and 30 months of aging, 24 months of which are on the lees in large oak casks.

The 2009 Cannonau di Sardegna Riserva Keramos shows much younger fruit compared to the 2008 vintage. This wine aspires to its own unique taste profile with an abundance of plush Morello cherry, blackberry, plum and pressed rose. Spice, tobacco and leather play important supporting roles. It makes a solid showing in the mouth thanks to the natural density of its consistency.

The 2008 Cannonau di Sardegna Riserva Keramos is loaded with personality and will appeal to those who appreciate a red wine with a wild side. The bouquet shows forest berry, bramble and spice. Tertiary aromas of pencil shavings and licorice also appear in increasing intensity. The tannins are polished and smooth. Keramos is aged in large oak casks for 24 months.

The 2007 Cannonau di Sardegna Riserva Keramos shows the darker side of this indigenous red grape. Black cherries, plums, licorice, smoke, French oak and tar meld together gracefully in this big, opulent Cannonau. The Keramos is decidedly virile and potent, yet all of the elements are in harmony.
