The lavishly oaked 2018 Omaka Reserve Chardonnay features scents of toasted hazelnuts and cashews layered over grilled peach and pineapple slices. It's medium to full-bodied, with a round, generous feel in the mouth, and it finishes long, with echoes of toast and citrus. Barrel fermented in a mix of American and French oak (50% new), it's not for the shy, but it packs in a lot of flavor.
