The 2019 Chardonnay Silhouette opens with wonderfully pure notes of fresh yellow apples, Bosc pears and green guava with hints of brioche, toasted almonds and nutmeg. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has a gorgeous satiny texture and tons of freshness, delivering bags of juicy apple and pear flavors on the long finish. Enjoy it now and over the next 4 to 5 years.

The 2018 Chardonnay Silhouette reveals compelling notes of fresh grapefruit, green mango and white peaches with hints of struck flint, lime leaves and honeysuckle. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has a wicked backbone of crisp acidity, lifting the citrus and stone fruit flavors to a long, steely finish.

This bottling represents the best Chardonnay fruit of the vintage. The 2017 Chardonnay Silhouette comes mostly from Stanly Ranch Estate vineyard plus some fruit from Hyde vineyard in Carneros. The wine fermented in barrel with native yeasts and full malolactic. It aged 16 months with the full lees in 40% new French oak. It gives up forward fruit notes of guava, fresh pineapple and honeydew melon with hints of peach kernel, lime leaves and chopped nuts with a touch of cedar. Medium-bodied, the palate has a seriously racy line of freshness cutting through the intense tropical and stone fruit flavors, finishing long and toasty. 700 cases produced.

Aged for 16 months in 35% new French oak, the 2016 Chardonnay Silhouette opens with tropical fruit notes of mango, guava and pineapple with touches of crème br?lée, mandarin peel and lightly browned toast. The palate is medium to full-bodied with a pleasantly oily texture and lovely freshness lifting the vivacious fruits, finishing long. 459 cases produced.

The 2015 Chardonnay Silhouette has a lovely orange blossom, ripe apricot and Golden Delicious apple-laced nose with hints of honeyed toast, cedar and salted almonds. Medium-bodied, very fine and fresh with a lovely silkiness to the texture, the palate has fantastic intensity and minerality, finishing on a lingering savory note. 600 cases were made.
