Tart, juicy and deep, this is a wine for acidity-lovers who want sweet fruit to compensate. It’s perfectly balanced, tangy and sharp, but also complex and detailed. This is very nice, crisp and fresh, with pure fresh cut pear fruit flavors, and hints of pear skin and citrus rind. There’s good texture, mouthfeel and body, with crisp minerality setting off the ripe fruit. A nice, smooth, unwooded finish.——P.G.(2/1/2005)—— 88
