Here’s a brightly colored Rosato with pink and copper highlights. The 2015 Cirò Rosato is a pure expression of the Gaglioppo grape and it does a great job of underlining the less formal side of Calabria’s most noteworthy red indigenous variety. The bouquet shows subtle tones of wild berry and cassis. The mouthfeel is slightly sweet and soft, but there are pretty menthol and herbal notes that add for a zesty finish.
