The 2015 Sangiovese Era reveals a truly Umbrian character that is warm and friendly but cautiously reserved at the same time. The bouquet offers frank tones of wild cherry, red rose, camphor ash and sweet baking spice. Sangiovese from Umbria shows a slightly broader and richer side, with comparable depth and complexity as you might expect from neighboring Tuscany. Production is 20,000 bottles strong.

The 2011 Sangiovese Era is a deep and darkly concentrated expression of the grape that has achieved a surprisingly high level of concentration and density. Bold black cherry and blackberry preserves are backed by playful accents of rum cake, black licorice and leather.
