Medium ruby, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve offers aromas of blackcurrants, bouquet garni, licorice, cedar, cigar box and pencil shavings. The full-bodied palate is ripe and lush with supple tannins, generous fruit and classy new oak spices lingering on the finish. It wears its ripeness and new oak well.

The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve was aged 21 months in 66% new French oak. Deep ruby-purple, the nose explodes with tricolored berry fruits laced with sweet spices and notes of graphite. The full-bodied palate its packed with spicy, fruits, firm, grainy and finishing long. It's a tad firm and could use another 2-3 years in bottle. 1,480 cases produced.

Wafting from the glass with notes of black tea, cherry preserve and espresso, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is medium-bodied, angular and aggressively tannic, concluding with a drying finish. This was a challenging vintage for Bordeaux varieties in Paso, and this cuvée reflects that.

The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is outstanding, with a perfumed, elegant style in its creme de cassis, raspberry, ground herbs and spring flower aromas and flavors. Possessing fine tannin, moderate depth and concentration, yet impeccable balance, it should drink nicely for a decade.

The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is outstanding, with lots of cassis, tobacco, cigar wrapper and wet gravel aromas and flavors, medium to full-bodied richness and beautiful purity of fruit. Made from 100% Cabernet and aged 16 months in 48% new French oak, it's more fresh and focused than the Isosceles bottling, but less concentrated.
