This is a terrific wine from the Foradori family. Their 2020 Pinot Grigio Fuoripista (an organic and biodynamic wine) is recognized by the orange wax capsule on the bottle that matches the orange highlights of the label. The wine sees extended skin maceration, although its appearance is brilliant and bright with copper hues. There are light aromas of cinnamon, white plum spice and honey over a medium-bodied finish.

The Foradori 2018 Pinot Grigio Fuoripista shows a reddish copper color with amber highlights. The wine is closed in a fun orange wax seal capsule. This Ramato-styled Pinot Grigio (the wine's color is the result of extended skin contact during fermentation) opens to aromas of dried peach, nectarine and orange. There is an almost sweet note of candied cherry or almond marzipan that lifts with bright intensity from the bouquet. I'm also reminded of floral notes, especially wild rose or fragrant rosa rugosa. This Pinot Grigio shows enough structure to pair with vegetable tempura or fried pork, especially when the bottle ages a couple of more years.
