The 2010 Vina Aljibes Blanco is a blend of 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Chardonnay with the latter fermented in new French oak but raised in stainless steel. Inviting aromas of fresh herbs, melon, citrus, spring flowers, and mineral inform the nose of this savory, complex, well-balanced white. As the wine sits in the glass, tropical aromas emerge adding nuance to the wine’s personality. Drink this excellent value over the next 1-2 years.
