The 2017 Chardonnay Santa Barbara County opens with notes of gunflint and smoke that give way to lemon meringue, red apple skin, white apricot, dried hay and white mushroom aromas. Light to medium-bodied, it's creamy textured with nutty flavors, tangy acidity to counter and a long, toasty finish.

Offering up white peaches and fresh pineapple on the nose with hints of nutmeg and coriander seed, the 2016 Chardonnay Santa Barbara County has ripe stone fruit and tropical notes in the mouth with a lovely spiciness to the finish.
