The 2000 Goats Do Roam Rose, produced from the bleeding of the tanks (saigne) of Pinot Noir, Grenache, Gamay Noir, Shiraz, and Cinsault, has an appealing, rich nose of raspberries and strawberries. Light to medium-bodied, silky-textured, and well-made, this is a simple, easygoing, red fruit-dominated rose for drinking over the next 12 months. This wine is a superb value.
