The 2020 Vin de France La Remise de la Mordoree Rose is 35% each Marselan and Merlot, plus 15% each Grenache and Syrah. Strawberries and mixed citrus appear on the nose, alongside hints of wild fennel and passion fruit. It's medium to full-bodied, soft and generous, then finishes with a nice zip of citrus.

Medium-bodied and flavorful, the 2018 Vin de France La Remise de la Mordoree Rose just lacks the richness and length of the domaine's other rosés, yet it still offers attractive berry and melon notes.

I tasted four rosés from Mordoree this year. Even the 2016 La Remise de la Mordoree Rose is a fresh, zesty glassful of fruit. A blend of 35% Marselan, 35% Merlot, 15% Grenache and 15% Syrah from a sandy site near Roquemaure, its berry, peach and melon flavors should be enjoyed over the next few months.

A big, ripe, textured beauty that stays fresh and lively on the palate, the medium pink colored 2015 La Remise de la Mordoree Rose gives up classic Tavel-like notes of framboise, flowers and ripe strawberries. It's a no brainer purchase to buy by the case.

The 2014 La Remise de la Mordorée Rosé is a blend of Merlot and Marselan (the latter is a cross between Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon). The wine exhibits light strawberry notes, crisp acid and a soft, delicious, savory mouthfeel. It should be drunk before the end of summer 2016.
