Domaine Bru Bache

Claude Loustalot may not be as outgoing as his uncle, the celebrated Georges Bru?Bache, but he is proving a worthy succes?sor: his wines are highly expressive of their fruit and terroir, especially the richer cuvees, Eminence and Quintessence. The dry wines, though, are less consistent. The 2005 edition of the Eminence is flawed by obvious volatile acidity and is best avoided. The other 2005s fared somewhat better.
