The 2009 Gewurztraminer is a gorgeous, vivid wine. Passion fruit, papaya, cloves and mint are just some of the nuances that flow from this beautiful, totally sexy Gewurztraminer. All of the elements meld together seamlessly on the generous, creamy finish. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2018. The most impressive wines I tasted this year from Alto Adige came from Cantina di Terlano. Simply put, these are reference point wines.
