The Ca' del Bosco 2018 Franciacorta Vintage Collection Satèn is 85% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Bianco with fruit sourced from 14 certified organic vineyards. It ferments in small oak casks and sees 48 months on the lees in the bottle. The bouquet is toasty and rich with a baked almond note followed by dried lemon curd, Golden Delicious apple and salted caramel. The effect is soft and broad, and the wine delivers a fleshed-out texture with subtle beading.

This is a bright and fragrant sparkling wine that opens to a generous bouquet of lemon mousse and creamy peach. Here is a slightly more full-bodied expression from a warm vintage in Northern Italy made with 85% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Bianco. The Ca' del Bosco 2012 Franciacorta Vintage Collection Satèn offers spicy aromas of dried ginger and white licorice at the back of generous aromas of apricot and candied orange peel. The wine is layered and thick with foamy perlage that is backed by rich textural consistency. This sparkling wine wraps smoothly over the palate and leaves a lasting impression thanks to its more exuberant personality.

The 2003 Saten is a beautiful, silky wine that shares much of the ripeness found in the Brut, but in a fresher, steelier style.
