The 2015 Pinot Noir Rosella's Vineyard has a medium ruby-purple color and notes of anise, cloves and mossy bark over a core of black cherries and mulberries plus a waft of dried lavender. The medium-bodied palate reveals approachable, chewy tannins and seamless freshness, supporting the delicate berry and spicy flavors, finishing on an earthy note.

Compared to the Pisoni and Garys' vineyard releases, the 2014 Pinot Noir Rosella's Vineyard is more supple, easy going and charming, with attractive red fruits (black raspberries and black cherries), toasted spices, dried herbs and earth aromas and flavors. I doubt it will make old bones, but it should evolve nicely on its balance.

Loaded with notions of cassis, black raspberry, toasted spice and violets, the 2013 Pinot Noir Rosella’s Vineyard is a pretty, lively and elegant red that shows the darker fruited style of the variety. Possessing solid depth on the palate with beautifully integrated acidity, this is a classic Pinot Noir from Rosella’s Vineyard that will have a decade or more of overall longevity.

Made in a focused, tight and classic style, the 2012 Pinot Noir Rosella's Vineyard has ample sweet black cherry, ground herbs and rose-petal qualities to go with a medium-bodied, energetic and sappy feel on the palate. It shows the bright acidity that's the hallmark of this vineyard, yet it stays integrated, balanced and enjoyable. Drink it over the coming 4-6 years.

More serious, edgy and firm, with red and black currants, underbrush and spice aromas and flavors, the 2011 Pinot Noir Rosella’s Vineyard is one of the richer Pinots from this vineyard. Medium to full-bodied, rich and supple, with a great mid-palate, it has plenty of texture, all the while staying beautifully focused. It should have upwards of a decade of longevity. Drink 2014-2021.
