The Warboys vineyard is organic and certified biodynamic and is planted adjacent to the cellar door in McLaren Vale. The fruit for the 2019 Warboys Shiraz was handpicked, wild fermented with a combination of whole berries and whole bunches, then matured in new and seasoned French oak for 14 months. On the nose, this is layered with deli meats and salted licorice, coffee grounds, purple berries and exotic spice. In the mouth, the wine is supple, fresh and concentrated: a dangerous combination for Shiraz lovers. Wines like this rarely get their chance to age. Lovely. Good. Yes.

Bold and juicy, with vanilla bean and cream soda accents to the thick berry and plum flavors, complemented by hints of clove and candied violet.
