Readers looking for a wine that tastes like a blend of Chenin and Sauvignon Blanc should check out the 1995 Tullio Zamo. Made from 100% Pinot Blanc aged 20 months in French oak, I would have thought the wine would reveal more wood. It is lush, ripe, and complex, with a beautifully scented nose and medium-bodied, precise, nicely nuanced flavors of citrus, tangerines, and honey. Drink it over the next 2 years.Importer: Dominic Nocerino, Vinifera Imports, Ronkonkoma, NY; tel. (516) 467-5907
