The Ciclos de Finca Antigua, which was already a Reserva, has been simplified and is now just called Reserva. The 2011 Reserva is a blend of 60% Merlot and 20% each Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah from the older vineyards in the property that reflect the balsamic and relatively fresh character of their place. Having said that, 2011 is one of the warmest years in recent times. It fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured for two years in French oak barrels plus a further two years in bottle before it's released. It's a commercial red blend, quite typical from La Mancha, with recognizable aromas and a polished palate with fully resolved tannins and a mixture of ripe fruit and spicy oak flavors. I think this is ready now, and in a warm vintage, feels like you should drink it up. 41,000 bottles produced.
