This winery, which is owned by Kendall-Jackson, has established a good track record for lavishly oaked, lusty, rich Chardonnays. Their Pinot Noir program began with some difficulty, but appears to have improved significantly over the last few vintages. Cambria's 1991 Pinot Noir-Julia's Vineyard Estate is their best Pinot to date. Medium to dark ruby in color, it offers up aromas of nearly over-ripe plums, underbrush, and flowers.
