The dry 1993 Semillon is fuller, more honeyed, and boldly-styled than the 1993 Sauvignon Blanc. It possesses chewy fruit and finishes with enough acidity to provide focus and crispness. This offering is an excellent value. For the record, another Lakewood current release, the 1992 Chevriot (a 50/50 Sauvignon/Semillon blend), tastes too overtly woody. Tel. No Listing
