Velenosi’s 2007 Offida Bianco Pecorino Villa Angela is a sleek, racy version of this indigenous white. Pretty layers of white peaches, flowers and minerals are intricately woven with notable class and elegance. This appealing, generous wine is best enjoyed in its youth, and is a beautiful effort from Velenosi. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2011. These are the finest wines I have tasted from Velenosi, an emerging producer in the Marche that is very close to making a huge jump in the overall quality of their wines.
