This signature wine from Nicolas Catena offers wonderful aromatics, including deep black fruit, coffee and fancy oak. The palate on this blended wine (it’s mostly Cabernet) deals ample black cherry and cassis, and the finish is snappy, not heavy. A bit leaner and lighter in the midpalate than one might expect.
