The one dry white Moscatel has been renamed to simply Blanco (white). On this occasion I tasted the 2016 Blanco produced with Moscatel de Grano Menudo (Muscat Blanc à Petit Grains) grapes from young, irrigated and trellised vines. Thirty percent of the volume fermented in 500- and 600-liter oak barrels and the rest in stainless steel. It has a balsamic and minty nose denoting freshness and limited floral aromas. The palate is dry and tasty, clean, focused and easy. Very good value. 108,000 bottles produced.

This aromatic white is fragrant, featuring jasmine, honeysuckle and lychee notes, but on the palate this is crisp and dry, with tangy acidity supporting the lemon-lime and lychee flavors.
