    The 2018 Clio was produced with 70% Monastrell and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon that were picked at full ripeness, and the wine hits the scale at 16% alcohol. It fermented in stainless steel with neutral yeasts and matured in French and American oak barrels, where it also underwent malolactic and 23 months of élevage. They have lowered the toast a little, but the technical direction is from Ringland and he insists on keeping the line in search of aging potential. The wine is full-bodied, round and lush, and even if very tannic, it comes through as less tannic than other wines from 2018. It finishes with abundant, chalky tannins. Even this is a wine to lay down. 50,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in September 2020.
