The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Gran Reserva contains 10% Syrah in its blend. The wine spent 12 months in new and one year French oak barriques. A bit tight and reticent at the present time, it has plenty of fruit and the structure for aging so if it comes together over the next 2-3 years, it could well achieve an outstanding score.
