Australian Pinot Noir is rarely impressive, but this 2004 Pinot Noir, while hardly inspirational, smells like a good, young Pinot with scents of forest floor, damp earth, sweet and sour cherries, and hints of pomegranate, spice, and cinnamon. Well-made and medium-bodied, it should be consumed over the next 1-2 years.
