This interesting wine shows an herbal signature on the bouquet, with lovely tones of black olive and rosemary, some salty anchovy paste and delicate crushed stone. The fruit within the 2016 Canneto is rigid and tight, and the wine's tannins do tend to dry out your palate. This vintage remains very nervous and tight at its core.
