The 2019 Apartado Gran Malbec is an intense Malbec produced with grapes from different locations in the Valle de Uco, a selection of the best barrels. It has some developed notes and feels polished, ripe without excess, with varietal notes of violets, berries and herbs and some dusty aromas of brick dust and rusty iron. It matured in French oak barrels, 50% new, 50% second-use, for 18 months. It has integrated oak, ripe fruit and very tasty flavors, with good ripeness and 13.9% alcohol, with round tannins and a dry, long finish. 10,440 bottles were filled in August 2020.

The 2019 Malbec Gran Apartado, Uco Valley was aged for 18 months in 50% new French barrels. Purple in the glass. With a nose of plum, country herbs, thyme and hints of bay leaf, the aging process has added to the complexity. In the mouth, it’s grippy with fairly tart freshness, a juicy flow and refined texture; the oaky frame enhances the volume.
