The Piero Busso 2017 Barbera d'Alba Majano is a dark and lively expression that is packed tight with blackberry, dried cherry and more thick layers of primary fruit. There are hints of crushed mineral or limestone. The heat and power of the vintage are transmitted through the lush and opulent personality of this pretty wine. Barbera never really has an issue with low acidity, and the natural freshness of the fruit makes for a terrific balance against that richness.
