The 2011 Vermentino di Sardegna Is Argiolas is a smaller-production wine than the Costamolino. In this vintage the Is Argiolas is deep, plush and inviting, reflecting the personality of the year and the added richness from the older vines. Sweet spices, roasted nuts and honey all add considerable complexity to the yellow orchard fruit in this full-bodied, unctuous Vermentino. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2015.
