The 1999 Hildegard Proprietary White (55% Pinot Gris, 40% Pinot Blanc, and 5% Alicante Bouchet) is a well-made, light gold-colored offering with evolved aromas of butter, citrus, and tropical fruit. Good acidity gives it definition and underlies the fruit character. This is a medium-bodied, fruit and acid-driven wine, with no noticeable oak. It will drink well for 3-4 years. Tel. (805) 937-9801
