The 2006 Aglianico del Vulture Il Repertorio is a rich, plump wine loaded with dark fruit and sweet toasted oak. This wine offers plenty of length in an extroverted expression of Aglianico. With a little more varietal character it might merit an even higher score. The Repertorio is made from the estate’s youngest vines. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2012. Cantina del Notaio is one of the top properties in Basilicata. The estate has been certified biodynamic since 2006 and the wines are made in a textured, sumptuous style.
