An off-dry, succulent version, with great balance between notes of warm hay, spiced apple and savory dried green herbs. Bottled with 28 grams of unfermented sugar per liter and 10.5% alcohol, the 2018 Riesling Kabinett is bright, pure and fresh on the floral nose. Juicy, piquant and nervy on the palate, with stimulating grip, some yeasty notes and crystalline and salty acidity. Very stimulating. Tasted at the domain in September 2020.

A drier version, with green apple flavors, bracing acidity and a mineral streak. Sharp and a little reserved now, but this should be better in a few years. Drink now through 2023. 111 cases imported.??–AZ??Region: Germany / Mosel Select to Add

Predominantly from the Zeltinger Himmelreich, the 2017 Riesling Kabinett is bright and subtle on the ripe, fruity, slightly mineral and herbal, very elegant and refined nose with its delicate slate aromas. Salty-piquant and fresh on the aromatic and fruity but lithe and crystalline palate, this is another Mosel Kabinett at its best. The sweetness of less than 30 grams per liter is just charming here, where it is combined with 9.5% alcohol. This is a highly stimulating, fresh and grippy Kabinett that you can enjoy even in the sun at 35 degrees Celsius. Almost 20,000 bottles produced. Tasted in March 2019.
