The 2005 Albarino Barrica was aged in a mix of new and used French oak for six to nine months. Light gold-colored, it has an enticing nose of baking spices, mineral, citrus, lemon zest, and spring flowers. Creamy on the palate with the oak nicely integrated, this flavorful, lengthy effort should drink well for another three years. No known American importer.
