The Tormaresca 2016 Castel del Monte Trentangeli is an easy and attractively priced blend of 70% Aglianico, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Syrah. This wine proves extremely versatile with basic meat dishes. Pretty blackberry and dark cherry aromas segue to spice, tobacco and tar. The Trentangeli goes into oak for 12 months. Some 100,000 bottles were made.
