Warm, generous and supple, the 2015 Cannonau di Sardegna Sardo is a great wine to pair with grilled meats or breaded veal. The wine has the inner softness and the basic simplicity to pair successfully with a long list of your favorite home-cooked meals. Purple fruit with a few highlights of red cherry and cassis describe the bouquet. The wine ferments on the skins for up to 20 days, and the aging process spans over 18 months (with lees contact). Background notes of spice and sweet tobacco round off the soft finish.

This medium-bodied red is bright and well-spiced, with a citrusy overtone to the fleshy mix of crushed raspberry, mineral and dried marjoram.
