I hope Souverain continues to produce their Rhone Ranger-inspired wine. Certainly this wine (60% Syrah, 30% Mourvedre, 10% Zinfandel) is an impressive debut offering. Blueberry, floral, peppery, and cassis aromas and flavors are packed into a medium to full-bodied wine with good length, and attractive sweet, ripe fruit and spice.
