Medium to deep ruby in color, the 2010 Growers Collection Calvert Vineyard Pinot Noir has a gorgeous nose of black forest cake, mulberries, raspberry coulis, anise and Ceylon tea with a hint of black pepper. Medium to full-bodied, it packs the flavors onto the relatively elegant palate with a solid backbone of medium level, grainy tannins and refreshing acid before it finishes long with some cinnamon and cloves coming through.
