The 2011 Pinot Noir Anderson Valley is a fairly straightforward offering. Juicy dark red/blue-hued fruit, flowers and mint emerge over time. The 2011 remains delicate and at times a bit fleeting. Still, it is a solid effort in what is an irregular and challenging vintage in Anderson Valley. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2016. Tel. (800) 314-1762

The outstanding 2009 Pinot Noir Anderson Valley (from newer Dijon clones such as 667, 777 and 115) reveals classic Anderson Valley notes of flowers, blueberries and raspberries. Medium-bodied with excellent purity, flesh and texture, this is a delicious Pinot to enjoy over the next 4-5 years. I enjoyed the flowery, blue fruit-filled 2007 Pinot Noir Anderson Valley (mostly new Dijon clones). This delicate, elegant, feminine-styled Pinot offers juicy, succulent blue fruits, a hint of spice, and lots of spring flower-like characteristics. It should drink well for 3-4 years. Tel.
