The Gross 2007 Gelber Muskateller Perz offers intense scents of mint, sage, lavender, and pennyroyal. Sappy and juicy, with strong inhalative herbal inner-mouth intensity, it displays the sort of lip-smacking refreshment, sheer juiciness, and clarity of finish that are too often missing from this grape. One really senses the concentration of a steep, windy site. This will be terrifically versatile at table over the next 2-3 years.
