From the upper sections of the same site, the 2006 Weissburgunder Kittenberg (raised in mature barriques) offers a lovely melange of piquant hazelnut, flowers, fresh apple, banana, grapefruit, diverse herbs, and a hint of lanolin. With a fine balance between richness and low tones on the one hand and fresh fruit vivacity on the other, this finishes with rich nuttiness, yet levity and refreshment.
