The 2004 Riesling Beerenauslese Pfaffenberg offers the nose tangerine and brown spices, and these same elements, allied to honey and bright citrus, inform a palate of richness and creaminess yet delicacy of touch and uplifting fresh fruit juiciness. The counterpoint of creaminess and brightness persists into the ravishingly long finish of citrus, honey, white raisin, and lightly caramelized pit fruits.
