A fascinating, rich and complex wine. Starts with jazzy Lifesaver flavors and combines them with warmer notes of baked cherry tart and sweet tobacco. It’s all well oaked. Very ripe and fruity stuff here, a blast of jammy strawberry and black raspberry and spicy cola. Oak adds smoke and vanilla. It’s dry, with lusciously complex tannins and soft acids.
