The 2010 Copertino Rocca dei Mori is a good value. The wine boasts a very modern and international approach with chocolate and Indian spice that segue to ripe, jammy fruit. It shows thick layers of Maraschino cherry, moist chewing tobacco, vanilla extract and black currant. The blend is 70% Negroamaro and 30% Montepulciano and the assembled wine ages in barrique for six months.
